"First Steps" marks my initial incursion into game development, aptly named to signify the outset of my journey in 2021. As the sole indie developer, I crafted the game from start to finish, utilizing pre-existing assets and personally designing the levels. This project served as my introduction to Unity, where I delved into the fundamentals of programming in C#, movement mechanics, and animation. The experience was not only educational but also immensely rewarding, solidifying my passion for game development and shaping my career trajectory in the field.

"Unplumbed: A Stickman's End" debuted as my inaugural solo project for Brackeys's Game Jam 2023.1, revolving around the theme "The end is a new beginning." In this platformer/adventure game, players navigate a stickman's fragmented body across various drawings, striving to reunite its scattered parts and prevent similar fates for other stickmen. I meticulously handled every aspect of development, save for sound design, marking a significant milestone in my growth as a developer. This experience not only bolstered my Unity skills but also imparted invaluable lessons in game design, programming, and time management. "Unplumbed" stands as a testament to my dedication and creativity, representing one of my proudest achievements in game development.

"Misfortune" represents my collaborative debut in game development, crafted during the Uppsala University Winter Game Jam 2023. As lead programmer and one of the game designers, I contributed to shaping a platformer experience with a sinister twist on the classic hero rescues princess narrative. Intentional glitches and failures disrupt gameplay, blurring reality and digital realms, while horror elements subvert player expectations. Collaborating with teammates offered insights into effective communication and time management, enriching my understanding of game development dynamics. "Misfortune" stands as a testament to creativity, perseverance, and the power of teamwork in game development.

"Space Smash", launched in 2021, is a pivotal milestone in my game development journey. As the sole indie developer, I reimagined the classic Atari Breakout with a space-themed artistic twist. This project marked my first endeavor in creating a complete game, featuring Win and Lose states, menus, a live and points system, as well as music, sound effects, and intricate animations. Delving deeper into C# coding, scene management, and complex game mechanics, I honed my skills and gained confidence in Unity. The enriching experience of developing "Space Smash" not only expanded my technical prowess but also fueled my passion for game design. Keep an eye out for an awesome Easter egg hidden within the game!

"Arcane Bloom" emerges as a meticulously crafted Game Design Document (GDD), embodying my vision for a narrative-driven game set in a dystopian world blending steampunk and cyberpunk aesthetics. In this immersive experience, players step into the shoes of a retired detective, grappling with past traumas until a newfound lead reignites the fire within. Through the process of conceptualizing and formatting the GDD, I delved deep into the intricacies of game development, gaining invaluable insights into the importance of documentation. This demanding yet enriching experience not only solidified my understanding of the creative process but also highlighted the crucial role of clear and comprehensive documentation in shaping and communicating game concepts. "Arcane Bloom" stands as a testament to my aspirations as a game developer, representing a future endeavor that I'm eager to bring to life with refined skills and expertise.

"Speakeasy" marks a significant milestone in my journey as a game developer, being my most recent project and one of my proudest achievements. This game, developed over the course of three months for Steam, represents my first foray into publishing on a major platform. As a frenetic Shoot 'em Up based on a wave system, "Speakeasy" delivers intense action gameplay crafted in Unity 2D. In leading roles such as Programming and VFX Direction, Lead Programming, UI/UX Lead Designer, Lead Game Design, Project Management Support, and Sound Design, including Trailer Creation, Direction, and Editing, I navigated the complexities of game production. This multifaceted involvement provided a deep dive into the intricacies of each discipline, particularly in programming, where my skills and knowledge saw significant growth. Working alongside a team of talented individuals, I gained valuable insights into collaboration, enhancing my capabilities in communication and project management. Reflecting on my development from my first project to "Speakeasy," I am filled with pride for the progress I've made, underlining the project as a testament to creativity, perseverance, and the collaborative spirit of game development.

"Snow Adventure", developed in 2021, was a personal exploration into game development. Despite initial doubts about its quality, the project served as a valuable learning experience. Embracing Pixelart for the first time, I navigated the complexities of this art style independently. While the game's scale was modest, I initiated a marketing campaign with video teasers on social media platforms. Although I crafted the game without extensive external guidance, I was driven to improve in future endeavors. Through this process, I deepened my Unity skills and explored new features, particularly in physical behaviors, enhancing my overall understanding of game development.

"Odyssey Of Shadows" is my first venture into Unreal Engine 5, showcasing an expansive open-world experience set in a desert landscape with a forest and dungeon. Despite its narrative simplicity, the game boasts meticulous design and high-quality assets, offering players a visually stunning adventure. Learning Unreal Engine and mastering C++ for development has been both challenging and rewarding, contributing significantly to my growth as a developer. While still in beta with completion at 70%, the game represents a pivotal step in my journey of mastering complex tools and pushing my boundaries of game development.
